Aquatic and Terrestrial Themed Exhibitory
Aquatic theming generally aims to replicate the exhibited animal’s natural habitats, bringing the animals’ world to the visitor. ICM’s team of designers and contractors can create any environment, whether simulating the natural world or creating fantasy worlds. Beyond the artistic, ICM’s architects and engineers ensure that this exhibitry is fully integrated both with the aquarium exhibits and building architecture, whilst ICM’s biologists advise creating accurate illustrations of natural habitats.
Animal Selection & Description
Animal selection is key to bringing aquariums to life. Beyond the main charismatic star attraction animals, it is important to carefully select suitable animals that bring life, color and movement to all levels of an exhibit. Our specialist curation team ensures that different species of fish will live in harmony and will inhabit every corner of an aquarium tank to create the most engaging exhibit.
Animal Sourcing
With an unwavering respect for marine life and the environment in general being central to ICM’s core values, the well-being of animals and the sustainable sourcing of them is a key specialization of the company. ICM’s specialist animal procurement team has a wide network of animal sources, being able to provide a wide array of animals in a responsible manner.
The team coordinates the safe transport of animals and the quarantine periods, ensuring that healthy animals are ready to enter the aquarium habitats.
Commissioning Works
Providing safe habitats and optimal water quality through life support systems is one of the most important investments in owning an aquarium. ICM’s specialist team ensures that all equipment is running optimally and that habitats are ready to house animals safely and ensuring biological security.
