Houston Downtown Aquarium

Dive into Distinctive Spaces: Crafting Identity through Aquatic Wonders

PROJECT INFORMATION

Houston Downtown Aquarium

Downtown Aquarium is the product of redeveloping two downtown Houston landmarks – Fire Station No. 1 and the Central Waterworks Building. The aquarium is a 7,500 square meter, almost 2 million water volume facility, that houses over 300 species of aquatic animals.

The overall development includes a full-service restaurant, an upscale bar, a fully equipped ballroom, aquatic & geographic exhibits, and shopping, all connected by a train at the basement which views the tanks from an extraordinary perspective. Apart from that there was another addition surrounding the buildings with a variety of amusements.
