Chongqing's Sincere Sea Star Cylinder welcomes newborn Baby Zebra Sharks

In a remarkable development at the Starry Ocean Star Cylinder, an aquarium project by ICM in Chongqing, a batch of baby Zebra Sharks has been successfully born.

These pups demonstrate that the parent animals are thriving and healthy/happy enough to propagate which showcases that the ICM dedicated husbandry team always works meticulously to ensure optimum conditions for the livestock under their care and all our life support system design by our specialists is perfectly fitting the purpose of the design to complete a perfect environment for the animal welfare and the visitors’ enjoyment.

This event holds significant importance as Zebra Sharks are listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), with multiple populations worldwide facing the threat of extinction.
