The developed concept is to offer a broader experience than either a pure aquarium or hotel can offer individually, by combining both into one cohesive design, that weaves living aquatic experiences throughout, to give unique and exciting possibilities, creating more than its sum of parts.

Building a hotel and aquarium together gives the opportunity to harness the splendour of the aquatic exhibits to produce unique hotel assets, which will become desirable destinations, elevating their value. There is the wonderful opportunity to provide some truly remarkable animal interaction experiences, allowing guests to take in the experience from their own private spaces.

Very few other hotels have blended spaces with aquatic life features, because it takes another level of expertise that hospitality designers have not experienced. Even where this has been done, still the hotel and aquatic facilities tend to have considerable division and lack the unique immersive experiences that this concept looks to offer.
