AWA Resort Development

This proposal looks to develop the successful and popular Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium site in Cambodia. The new designs plan to provide activities and spaces that will encourage all day and multi-day guests of varied backgrounds.

Extending the animal park, as well as creating new standalone experience activities, will provide an entirely new adventure. The combination of facilities proposed has the potential to create its own tourism eco-system, where guests could potentially base an entire vacation from, or even stay on longer.

Carefully taking into consideration current and future operations of Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium, proposals ensure minimal disruption both during the new facility construction and operation, where early extended visitor dwell time and revenue generation can be achieved.

The architectural proposals are that of simplicity, creating elegance and luxury from readily available materials and local trades. Environmental issues will first be addressed by passive means, then complimenting with active technologies as necessary.

The proposals will bring additional world-class facilities to the Siem Reap area, including inclusive sporting facilities. The hotel and spa, along with retail, restaurant and beach club will provide for both tourists and residents. To elevate the entire experience, unique nature and animal encounters will be created throughout.
